Join the LMA for a unique and informative programme hosted by Gene Kissane and Michael Brand of Cole, Scott & Kissane (CSK), one of Florida’s leading law firms. With extensive experience in litigation, CSK has conducted nearly 900 jury trials post-COVID.

The session will explore:

  • strategies and tactics to avoid nuclear verdicts, supported by real-life trial examples
  • key insights into the best and worst litigation venues in the United States, including considerations of choice-of-law provisions
  • the role of litigation funding and litigation insurance in shaping American litigation
  • practical approaches to avoid allegations and bad faith traps from the outset of cases.
Janine Powell, LMA Claims Director, and Arabella Ramage, LMA Legal Director, will join the programme on stage, offering invaluable insights for underwriting, legal, and claims professionals navigating the complexities of US litigation.
