The Lloyd’s Bloodstock community would like to invite you to attend the annual Nick Mills' Memorial Lecture. This year’s speaker, Howard Newitt MRCVS, will present a lecture "How do veterinary regulators help to reduce the risks in equine sport?".
Nick Mills (M.A.(Cantab), M.R.C.V.S.) was a longstanding friend to the insurance market, particularly underwriters and brokers in Lloyd’s, and his help and assistance were greatly appreciated. We look forward to you joining us on Wednesday 29 January in his memory.

Speaker
- Howard Newitt MRCVS
- Howard holds three roles within the veterinary profession, reflecting his interest in equine sports and care.
- As an FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale) official vet, Howard has worked at Olympic, World and European championships. Howard also serves as a veterinary officer with the British Horseracing Authority. In this capacity, he oversees the health and welfare of racehorses across a variety of National Hunt and Flat racing events. Howard also provides veterinary advice to insurance brokers and underwriters, drawing upon his 29 years of experience within the profession.
