LMA appoints new Board members
London, 30 September 2024: The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has announced the appointment of two senior market leaders to its Board. The LMA is governed by a Board which sets the overall strategy, direction and priorities of the association. The Board is made up of senior market practitioners and LMA leaders.
The new Board members are Sarah Stanford, Chief Executive Officer of Aspen UK and Duncan Dale, Chief Executive of Dale Underwriting Partners.
Dominick Hoare, Group Chief Underwriting Officer of Munich Re Specialty Group Ltd and Chris Smelt, Underwriting Partner of Managing Agency Partners Limited, have stepped down from the LMA Board.
Sheila Cameron, Chief Executive Officer of the LMA, commented: I am delighted to welcome Sarah and Duncan to the LMA Board. We will all benefit from their deep experience and understanding of Lloyd’s to enable London to continue to lead the global specialty insurance market.”
Andrew Brooks, Chairman of the LMA and Non-Executive Director of Ascot Group Limited, said: “I would like to thank Dominick and Chris for their dedication and support to the LMA’s mission and their contributions as Board members.”
