ECF Write-Back wins Technology Initiative of the Year
04 December 2015
ECF Write-Back has been awarded ‘Technology Initiative of the Year’ at the Insurance Day Awards. It was collected by LMA’s claims manager Lee Elliston at last night’s Insurance Day Awards. This follows Write-Back’s Business Process Improvement Award at Acord’s annual conference in Florida, last month.
Launched just six weeks ago, ECF Write-Back is the ground breaking functionality that allows the IT systems of Lloyd’s managing agents to interact fully with the market’s central claims systems and is a key modernisation initiative within the London Market Target Operating Model programme.
Lee said: “The ECFUG are delighted to receive the second award for Write-Back. This is a proud moment for the cross market ECF user group and the AAC (Associations Administration Committee), the London market’s claims community and the associations (LMA & IUA) that have been fundamental in supporting and delivering the project. It’s been a huge task for managing agents, software providers and market associations, but the end result has seen another positive step forward for claims modernisation in both Lloyd’s and the London market.”
Further information about ECF Write-Back is available on the ECF website.
