LMA Guidance for UK Coverholders: Insurance Distribution Directive
The LMA has published guidance for UK coverholders on the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) which is due to come into force in the UK on 01 October 2018.
The Guidance covers various aspects of IDD including product oversight & governance, manufacturer responsibilities and Insurance Product Information Documents (IPIDs).
The LMA has also published an accompanying model binding authority endorsement (LMA5312) which is attached as an appendix to the Guidance and can also be accessed through the Lloyd’s Wordings Repository.
