The Louisiana Department of Insurance has amended Regulation 107 relating to Homeowner and Fire/Commercial Insurance Policy Disclosure Forms. As a result of these changes, LSW1668A – Louisiana Disclosure Notice (Homeowners) – has been amended and the revised Notice has been published as:

LMA9190 Louisiana Disclosure Notice (Homeowners)

The revised Notice, which includes a new section entitled “Reduction in Premium for Improvements or Modifications to Property”, is required for all new and renewal homeowners’ insurance policies issued or renewed on or after 30 May 2020.

Although the content of the commercial equivalent of the form, LSW1667A – Louisiana Disclosure Notice (Commercial and Fire Insurance), remains unchanged under the Regulation, it has been republished as:

LMA9189 Louisiana Disclosure Notice (Commercial and Fire Insurance)

Both Notices are available on the Lloyd’s Wordings Repository (LWR), which can be accessed via www.lloydswordings.com . As a result of the publication of these Notices with LMA clause references, LSW1667A and LSW1668A have now been moved to archive status.
