LMA Terrorism and Political Violence Business Panel - Election 2024
Request for Nominations 2024
The
LMA Terrorism and Political Violence Business Panel exists to represent the interests of writers of terrorism and political violence business within the Lloyd’s Market.
Under the Terms of Reference of the Panel there are seventeen elected places, four of which are up for re-election this year. Members are elected for a three-year term. The managing agencies remaining on the panel for 2024 are Aegis, Apollo, AXA XL, Axis, Beazley, Brit, Chaucer, Hiscox, IQUW, Mosaic, SCOR, Talbot and The Hartford.
We would ask you, if your agency is a writer of terrorism and political violence business within the Lloyd’s Market (and not already represented on the Panel), to nominate one representative with the seniority to speak on your behalf for this class. Such persons will constitute the electorate for the Panel and be invited, if they so wish, to stand for election.
The current membership of the Terrorism and Political Violence Panel can be seen on the
LMA website.
In the event that the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies, then an election will be held.
Nomination form and election procedure
If you wish to make a nomination for one of these four places, please complete the attached form by
17.00 on Friday 1st December 2023.
