The Joint Cargo Committee reviews the Joint Cargo Committee Global Cargo Watch List (JCCGCWL) at the start of its meetings. The list, compiled with input from IHS Markit, represents those areas which offer an enhanced risk in terms of war and strikes coverage for goods in transit and/or storage and/or other static exposures. The current list, along with an archive of all GCWL amendments, can be accessed via the GCWL link at the bottom of the page.
Please note: The JCC takes all reasonable care in providing this list, but accepts no liability for any errors or omissions or for the use of the list. Responsibility for the use of the list rests entirely with individual underwriters, brokers, and assureds. GCWL - Revised Scoring At its September 2012 meeting, the Joint Cargo Committee agreed a new scoring method for the GCWL, which came into effect for the September 2012 revision of the GCWL. A note outlining the revised IHS scoring method can be accessed below Revised IHS Country Risk Scoring
It should be noted that the Joint War Committee publishes a separate list for Hull war, strikes, terrorism and related perils. This list can be accessed via the Joint War Committee page.
