The committee reviewed progress on the Memorandum of Understanding Reps Document, with final compliance comments noted and a distribution list of key market representatives under development. The International Wording Working Group is being formed, with efforts underway to expand participation. Updates were shared on XHCP23, with feedback awaited from Chaucer and AXA XL regarding exclusions. The committee also reviewed recent public domain claims, including large verdicts and settlements, and members were asked to contribute further examples to the tracker. Tort reform developments in the US and Canada were discussed, alongside plans to invite external speakers and legal representatives ahead of ASHRM. The newly formed LMA/IUA Med Mal Claims Committee will facilitate cross-functional updates. Finally, the LMA Wordings Team’s Spring Clean project was introduced, with 24 wordings identified for review.
