London, 01 October 2025: The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) Academy is proud to launch its Early Talent Kickstarter Programme, a four-week immersive programme designed for a target audience of early professionals with less than one year of experience in the Lloyd’s market.
As part of the LMA’s strategy to provide technical education to those entering the market and develop the next generation of talent within the industry, this programme provides a comprehensive and hands-on introduction to the Lloyd’s market, combining in-person teaching, real-world simulations, expert-led sessions, digital learning and a collaborative group project.
Participants will gain the essential technical knowledge, commercial understanding and real-world insights to enable them to make an immediate contribution to their employer and build a valuable network of peers from across the market. The curriculum features key modules including underwriting essentials, claims handling, financial skills, a risk simulation, data and capital reinsurance. Delegates will also undertake a group project, culminating in presentations to a panel of industry judges.
Fiona Temple, People, Culture and Academy Director at the LMA, said: “The Early Talent Kickstarter Programme is a key part of our strategy to nurture and develop early talent and ensure the Lloyd’s market remains at the forefront of innovation and expertise.
“By equipping new entrants with the technical skills, knowledge and networks they need, we are investing in the future success of our market and its people.”
