Legal advice on the LMA3030 definition of terrorism was discussed, with no change proposed to the treatment of state-sponsored acts. The Panel noted regulatory changes in Brazil and the updated Pool Re definition of terrorism, which now covers “lone wolf” attacks. Members supported the renewal of the TRIA scheme and discussed the importance of clear property loss/damage wordings and cyber risk code allocation. The General Documentation Clause was reviewed, with further guidance to be provided at the next Market Forum. Invitations for upcoming events, including the Israel Compensation Fund presentation at the TPV Market Forum on 9th October and the NKF Annual Memorial Lecture, were confirmed.
