The committee welcomed new members and received updates from the AI Risk Management and Risk Culture workstreams, with the AI framework on track for market playback in January and publication in Q1 2026, and the Risk Culture outputs nearing completion pending final survey analysis. Members reflected on CRO Committee discussions, noting the need to better leverage ORSA insights to understand managing agents’ strategies, and agreed to regroup the ORSA workstream for 2026. A new Stress Testing workstream was launched to develop best-practice guidance linked to ORSA and three-year planning. The committee also agreed priority focus areas for 2026, including AI, cyber and third-party risk, model risk management, cycle management and aged debt, alongside actions to strengthen engagement, networking and mentorship across the CRO and Risk Next Gen communities.
