The Treasury & Investments Group addresses a wide range of strategic and operational topics that influence the investment and treasury activities of managing agents in the Lloyd’s market. Core areas of focus include:
Monitoring and circulating economic and political developments that could affect investment strategies and performance.
Supporting market-wide responses to major events, such as the Covid-19 pandemic or credit rating changes.
Working closely with Lloyd’s on strategic asset allocation rules and and acceptable assets for syndicate investment and Funds at Lloyd’s.
Developing and promoting principles and policies for responsible and sustainable investment.
Providing feedback to Lloyd’s on custodian services, investment management costs and service proposition.
Sharing effective practices in treasury and liquidity management, including cash collection and credit control processes.
Enhancing financial literacy by contributing investment-related content to LMA Academy programs aimed at non-investment professionals.
Contributing to industry consultations and formal responses related to investment policy and regulatory reporting.
