The panel approved the previous minutes. Members discussed the new Governing law paramount clause and consideration of insurer obligations on fee disclosure on SMB issues. The application of LEG 2 was discussed in relation to a water transmission pipeline claim, the timing of the application of LEG 2 was discussed as key. Other claims trends discussed were Middle East storms, the difficulty of obtaining weather station data, major water damage incidents, data centre losses, Australian transformer failures and Tunnel boring machine plant losses. The members then discussed property coverage developments and Indiana Emergency Rule 50. The panel spoke about war exclusions and the need for more clarity. LEG and the updates expected to the clauses were talked through. The members welcomed the Engineering Fee Initiative. The members are interested in attending the Fusion Conference taking place in September/October.
