The Cyber Wording Working Group agreed next steps, with draft clauses to be sent to the LMA Wordings Committee and legal reviews sought in Canada and Australia, alongside a planned presentation on the updates. Members were asked to propose clauses and anonymised examples for a wider legal briefing session. Claims updates highlighted rising insolvency-related claims in Europe, increasing regulatory pressure and emerging U.S. issues including superfund developments and warranty-related litigation. The Non-Marine Committee noted broad broker use of RITC clauses and the need to assess U.S./non-U.S. cyber clause splits, as well as concerns around insurers paying ransoms directly. Project Spring Clean continued with 65 FI wordings to review, and members requested a consolidated list of D&O and cyber risk codes. The increased use of clause LMA5326A was noted.
