SOLAS compliance challenges were raised, specifically regarding satellite navigation outages.

A review of IUMI highlighted concerns over data accuracy and the need for better topic coordination across presentations. Topics such as ageing fleets and AI risks were considered particularly relevant for underwriters.

Updates were shared on sub-committee workstreams including Navigation Limits and JH143. Legal discussions covered vessel detentions and war clause interpretations. The Committee also noted ongoing work around surveyor remuneration and preparations for the JH Dinner.
