Joint Liability Committee – 30 April 2025

Updates were shared on sub-committee activities, including the IUMI facts and figures, the LSW169A wordingand IG blue cards. Legal developments included the long-running Peruvian farmer case against RWE and the King Trader appeal. The group also discussed upcoming Texas tort reforms and the potential for a surge in claims. Other business included plans for an under-35s event, a review of liability wordings and emerging concerns around PTSD and social media-related claims.
