LMA DAC Minutes – January 2026

The Committee reviewed ongoing engagement with Lloyd’s on delegated authority processes, noting continued efforts to simplify referrals and streamline requirements, particularly around retrospective endorsements, branch approvals, and class‑of‑business approvals. Members discussed the importance of ensuring proportionate oversight while recognising current system constraints, including dependencies on ATLAS.

Updates were provided on Coverholder Reporting Standards, with strong support for embedding data requirements within the CBAA to drive consistency and reduce duplication for coverholders operating multiple binders. The Committee agreed to contribute to refining data definitions as part of the wider development of Module 10.

Planning for 2026, including objectives and terms of reference were deferred for discussion at the next meeting. Members also considered market feedback on permanent establishment certification and agreed that any additional follow‑up would be taken forward outside the meeting.
