The committee reviewed Lloyd’s 2024 Sustainability Report and received updates on TCX class planning, climate risk surveys and SMI workstreams, including resilience and carbon capture. Members discussed the UK Emissions Trading Scheme consultation, with syndicate input to be sought. Katie Lennon updated on her involvement with the Transition Finance Council, inviting committee engagement. The committee discussed next steps following the transition planning webinar and agreed to strengthen market education and collaboration. Members also proposed coordinated efforts for London Climate Action Week. An action was raised to understand more about sustainable investments via the LMA Treasury & Investments Group.
