OpRes Guidance for Claims playbook was presented to the Committee on behalf of the Claims Operations Leaders Group. This will be published on the LMA website.
A revised Urgent Settlement Framework will be sent out for consultation to the market by Lloyd’s in November. Lloyd’s are continuing to work on improving the resilience of central settlement with a programme of work planned in 2026.
Individual firms’ approaches on immutable backups and the rationale for the length of time these are held for were discussed. There isn’t a consistent rationale for these, and thinking is still emerging.
Progress on a co-ordinated vendor testing is ongoing, but without firm dates at the moment.
