Worldwide Property Business Panel – 17 July 2025

The committee reviewed several ongoing wording and market issues. The LMA confirmed it has asked brokers to clearly label amended cyber clauses to avoid confusion. Updates were provided on key wordings: further drafts of 3022/3023 are in progress; NMA2914 was highlighted as outdated, with guidance to be added to the LWR rather than creating a revised version; and brokers have requested variants of LMA3182, which the working group will explore. Claims updates noted recent PICG training on loss quantification, limited London-market impact from Texas floods, and upcoming engagement with U.S. public adjusters. Market observations included Bermuda’s increasing use of multi-year XOL deals. The Non-Marine Committee discussed cyber clause 2914 and the broad applicability of the 5670 sanctions clause. The panel agreed to move elections to a two-year cycle from 2026. Other items included BI training availability, concerns about unnamed jurisdictions in clauses, and a proposed US focused D&F forum.
