The LMA supports managing agents across all aspects of Delegated Authority (DA) business, helping them navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and operational landscape. Delegated Authority remains a vital channel for underwriting and claims handling in the Lloyd’s market, and the LMA plays a central role in representing member interests, shaping strategic direction and facilitating collaboration across the DA ecosystem.
Working closely with Lloyd’s, regulators, coverholders and delegated claims administrators (DCAs), the LMA promotes proportionate oversight, streamlined processes and effective risk management. The Delegated Authority team manages market-wide forums, provides technical guidance and delivers insight on current and emerging challenges across the distribution chain.
