Operations
The LMA Operations team plays a central role in advancing digitisation and operational efficiency across the Lloyd’s market. Our work is focused on supporting members in delivering greater interoperability, enhanced data quality and increased automation, key enablers of modern, scalable and customer-focused operations.
We actively contribute to the Velonetic re-platforming programme by promoting robust data standards, supporting straight-through processing and encouraging API-driven solutions to ensure reliable, real-time data flows across counterparties and service providers.
The team continuously reviews the market’s central service needs, identifying opportunities to streamline, standardise and simplify processes. This includes exploring how collective solutions can reduce friction, improve cost-efficiency and support better customer outcomes.
We work in close collaboration with Lloyd’s, LIMOSS, other London market trade associations and core service providers to ensure the coordinated development, performance and cost-effectiveness of cross-market operational services.
