The Emerging Professionals Claims Community exists to build a strong network for claims professionals in the Lloyd’s market. It fosters collaboration, supports learning and development – including soft skills and career growth – and provides a platform to represent their interests, ensuring their voices are heard and their potential is promoted across the market.
The community regularly hosts market groups and professionals to share their insights into their specific sectors, areas of expertise of career journeys, providing emerging professionals with exposure into areas outside of their day to day.
The community helps bring together early career claims professionals through regular events, workshops and informal meetups. These opportunities encourage relationship building across LMA member firms, promote knowledge exchange and connect individuals with mentors, peers, and industry leaders, helping them grow their professional network within the Lloyd’s market.
The community runs an educational series focused on soft skills and career development for claims professionals. Sessions cover topics such as communication, leadership and navigating career paths, equipping members with the tools and confidence to thrive both professionally and personally within the market.
