Key issues covered

The General Liability Claims Group facilitates the discussion of key issues in the liability market, advises the LMACC, supports cross-market initiatives and leads targeted projects. It also contributes expertise to other LMA groups and delivers the annual General Liability Symposium to share insights and promote best practice.

Symposium

The group hosts an annual General Liability Symposium, bringing together delegates from across the Lloyd’s market to explore emerging general liability trends, hear expert insights on systemic general liability related exposures both here in the UK and internationally as well as examine their impact on claims handling. The event supports knowledge sharing and equips attendees with the skills to respond effectively to evolving general liability risks.

Talent development

The group is focused on ongoing technical development for the general liability market, having recently held a ‘speed mentoring’ event to bring together new entrants to the general liability market with senior leaders to great success.

Upcoming events

For events hosted online, joining instructions will be emailed to all registered attendees closer to the date of the event no later than 24 hours prior to commencement.
