Key issues covered

The LMA Delegated Authority Claims Group focuses on identifying, prioritising and delivering solutions for the market, informed by its discussions and insights. Drawing on member expertise and real-world experience, it also drives innovation and process improvements that enhance efficiency for managing agents.

Operational governance

The group supports strong operational and governance standards by bringing together market experts to share insights, develop best practices and respond to regulatory developments. It works with Lloyd’s, managing agents and other stakeholders to improve oversight frameworks, streamline processes and enhance consistency across delegated claims management.

Optimising processes

Working with delegates claims authority partners, the group identifies and considers opportunities to optimise processes and procedures for managing agents and partners. It then embeds these solutions to drive efficiencies across the market.

2025 priorities

In 2025, the group will be focusing on: DCA onboarding, co-lead claims agreement review and the DACMG vision for claims DA.
