The Reinsurance Claims Group provides leadership on cross-class reinsurance matters, supporting wider LMA committees and groups. It identifies and investigates key issues, drives targeted initiatives and develops practical solutions that benefit customers, reinsurers and the wider market, while promoting consistency and collaboration across the reinsurance sector.
The LMA Reinsurance Claims Group hosts an annual ‘ReConnect’ conference, an afternoon of talks and panel discussions covering various reinsurance claims-specific topics.
The LMA Reinsurance Claims Group regularly meets with its broker counterparts to discuss common issues or how to better work together to provide an excellent claims service to customers.
The RICG actively supports market coordination through the LMA in the event of a CAT and offers training and briefings as appropriate to the wider reinsurance claims community.
